"I've been on Vodafone's 30GB SIM-only plan for 14 months now. Coverage in Kensington is excellent — I get 5G indoors at home and 4G/5G consistently throughout central London. The My Vodafone app is genuinely useful for monitoring data usage and managing add-ons. My only complaint is the annual price increase, which added about £2/month to my bill after the first year. The process for disputing it was straightforward once I found the right information on this site."

The entire switch took less than 24 hours — I requested the PAC code from O2 at 9am, submitted it to Vodafone by 10am, and my number had ported by the following morning. Coverage in Shoreditch is strong, including in the basement office where I work. The 1-month rolling plan gives me flexibility I didn't have before."

The handset deal was competitive when I signed up, but I've since seen better SIM-only deals that would have saved me money overall. The billing dispute process worked well when I was charged for a roaming add-on I hadn't requested — credit was applied within 5 working days."

Consistent speeds of 60–65 Mbps download, which is sufficient for a household of three with simultaneous streaming and video calls. The router provided is basic but functional. Setup was straightforward — the Openreach engineer arrived on the scheduled date and the connection was live within 2 hours."

I've been told full-fibre is coming to my street in 2025. Customer service was helpful when I reported a fault, though the wait time to speak to someone was over 20 minutes."

Phone support has longer wait times — typically 15–30 minutes during peak hours. The complaints process, when followed correctly as described on this site, does produce results. I received a goodwill credit after a service outage that lasted more than 24 hours."
